- Continue with the steps mentioned above, moving your toothbrush toward the incisors, i.e., the front teeth. Clean the back of your front teeth with the tip of the brush, making a flicking motion to sweep the food particles that may be stuck on the inside.
- Once the upper incisors are properly cleaned, repeat the same steps for your lower incisors.
- Now, brush the upper and lower molars on the other side of your mouth in circular motion for another 20–30 seconds.
Don’t Forget to Clean Your Tongue
It’s very important to clean your tongue and the inside of your cheek, since food particles and plaque can get stuck there causing oral diseases and bad breath.
Gently brush the inside of your cheeks and tongue in a circular motion. Finish the cleaning process by rinsing your mouth with water or mouth wash.
